Invisible Braces vs Invisalign - which is better?
Teeth are some of the most important parts of the body and play an important role in the intake of food. Without teeth, people will not be able to chew their foods properly and for this reason, having healthy teeth is very important. Other than this, teeth also play a major role in defining our smile and can have a huge impact on our overall appearance.
Sometimes, in many people, the teeth become misaligned and this causes a lot of problems. If you are having misaligned teeth then you will not be able to chew the food properly and food particles might get stuck in between your teeth. Not only this but misaligned teeth also can diminish the beauty of your smile. For this reason, it is very important to correct misaligned teeth by visiting an orthodontist.
There are several orthodontic treatment procedures available out there, and out of them invisible brace and Invisalign are two of the most common ways of correcting misaligned teeth. While both of them have the same function, that is correcting misaligned teeth, and also sound very similar, both of them have some key differences that set them apart.
You see, in invisible braces, the braces are connected in the mouth with the help of brackets and wires and they hold the braces in their place. This means, just like regular braces, if you use an invisible brace for your mouth then you will not be able to remove them on your own and you would need help from an orthodontist who can revolve the braces.
On the other hand, an Invisalign can be removed by any person and you can take them off when you want to eat or brush your teeth. This makes Invisalign more convenient to wear when compared to invisible braces. But since Invisalign can be removed easily, it makes them easy to lose too.
Other than this, there are several other key differences between invisible braces and Invisalign. If you want to know which one is better then there is no straightforward answer to it. Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages and for this reason, you should consult with an orthodontist to know which one will be more suitable for you.
